An excellent opportunity has arisen for a candidate with a strong, proven background in costs, to take managerial responsibility for the smooth running of one of the largest costs teams in the Midlands.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the team’s systems and procedures, including the bespoke case management system. In addition, you will be tasked with the day to day management of the team, dealing with personnel issues including performance reviews and training.
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills as your duties will also include dealing with new instructions, queries, complaints billing and management information requests.
Strong communication, numeracy and accuracy skills are all essential for this role and whilst previous management experience is not pre-requisite, the enthusiasm and ability to lead and support a very busy team are extremely important.
